PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. — Malaga Financial Corporation (OTCIQ: MLGF), parent of Malaga Bank FSB, reported third-quarter 2026 results on October 16 via GlobeNewswire: net income of $6,270,000, or $0.63 per basic and diluted share, up 14% from $5,481,000, or $0.55, a year earlier, with prior-year per-share figures adjusted for the November 14, 2025 stock dividend. For the nine months, net income was $18,028,000, or $1.82 per share, up 10% from $16,431,000, or $1.66, with annualized return on equity of 10.52% and return on assets of 1.66%.
Third-quarter net interest income rose 13% year over year to $12,324,000 as the interest-rate spread widened from 2.88% to 3.15%; operating expenses were $3,616,000, up 5%.
