China's LexinFintech Receives Nasdaq Minimum Bid Price Notice, Has Until April 12, 2027 to Regain Compliance
SHENZHEN — LexinFintech Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq: LX), a technology-empowered personal financial service enabler in China, announced on October 16 via GlobeNewswire that it received a written notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of the Nasdaq Stock Market on October 14, 2026, indicating that the company is not in compliance with the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5450(a)(1). Based on the closing bid price of the company's listed securities from September 1, 2026 to October 13, 2026, the company had not met the minimum bid price requirement during that period.
The company said the notice is only a notification of deficiency and has no immediate effect on the listing of its American Depositary Shares, which will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market at this time, and that receipt of the notice does not impact its business, operations or reporting requirements with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Under Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the company is provided with 180 calendar days, until April 12, 2027, to regain compliance, during which the closing bid price of its ADSs must meet or exceed $1.00 per ADS for at least ten consecutive business days. If the company does not regain compliance by that date, it may be eligible for an additional period or may face delisting.
