俄亥俄州长下令降半旗 悼念克莱镇警局警长罗斯勒
俄亥俄州州长办公室10月16日发布公告，州长迈克·德瓦恩（Mike DeWine）下令，为悼念克莱镇（Clay Township）警局警长雅各布·罗斯勒（Jacob Roesler）的一生与服务，美国国旗与俄亥俄州旗在渥太华县（Ottawa County）所有公共建筑与场地降半旗，位于Columbus的州议会大厦、Vern Riffe Center 与 Rhodes State Office Tower 同步降半旗，持续至罗斯勒葬礼当日日落为止。

Ohio Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff to Honor Clay Township Sergeant Jacob Roesler
The Office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced on Oct. 16 that the governor has ordered the flags of the United States and the state of Ohio to be flown at half-staff in honor of the life and service of Sergeant Jacob Roesler of the Clay Township Police Department. Under the order, flags are lowered upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Ottawa County, as well as at the Ohio Statehouse, the Vern Riffe Center and the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, and will remain lowered until sunset on the day of Roesler's funeral.
All other public buildings and grounds throughout the state may fly the U.S. and Ohio flags at half-staff at their discretion for the same period, the announcement said. The governor's office did not state a cause of death in the announcement.
