纽约联储10月调查：服务业活动指数跌至负20.7 企业售价涨幅为2022年以来最快
纽约联邦储备银行10月16日发布的10月企业领袖调查显示，其辖区内服务业活动收缩加快，价格压力仍然显著。
调查的标题商业活动指数从9月的负8.7下跌12点至负20.7，为今年3月以来最低读数。商业环境指数为负35.0，与上月大体持平，略过半数受访企业认为当前经营环境明显差于正常水平。
价格方面，企业投入价格涨幅依然迅猛，售价涨幅则加快至2022年以来最快；企业预计未来投入价格与售价涨幅仍将维持高位。调查同时显示，辖区内就业大体保持平稳，工资涨幅温和，供应可得性继续恶化但速度较9月放缓，资本支出依然疲弱。
展望未来六个月，企业转趋悲观：未来活动预期指数跌入负值，为去年12月以来首次。

NY Fed October Survey: Service Activity Index Falls to -20.7 as Selling Prices Rise at Fastest Pace Since 2022
Service-sector activity in the New York Federal Reserve's district contracted at a faster pace in October while price pressures remained notable, according to the New York Fed's Business Leaders Survey released on October 16.
The headline business activity index fell 12 points from September's -8.7 to -20.7, its lowest reading since March. The business climate index came in at -35.0, little changed from the prior month, with slightly more than half of responding firms saying business conditions were much worse than normal.
On prices, firms reported that input price increases remained sharp while selling price increases accelerated to their fastest pace since 2022, and firms expected price increases to stay elevated ahead. Employment in the district was broadly steady, wage growth remained modest, supply availability continued to worsen though at a slower pace than in September, and capital spending stayed weak.
Looking ahead, firms turned pessimistic about the next six months: the expected future activity index fell into negative territory for the first time since December.
The Business Leaders Survey is a monthly questionnaire sent to about 150 service-sector executives across New York State, northern New Jersey and southwestern Connecticut, typically drawing about 100 responses. (GSM, based on Reuters reporting)
