Trump Rallies in Kalispell, Montana, Backing House Candidate Aaron Flint
President Donald Trump held a campaign rally on the evening of October 14 at the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell, Montana, to support Aaron Flint, the Republican candidate in Montana's 1st Congressional District. The stop was part of Trump's campaign swing for Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 midterm elections; earlier the same day he rallied in Bullhead City, Arizona, for gubernatorial nominee Andy Biggs before traveling to Montana.
Flint faces Democrat Sam Forstag in the race to succeed Republican Rep. Ryan Zinke, who is retiring. Montana's 1st Congressional District covers the western part of the state.
The Kalispell rally was scheduled for 6:15 p.m. local time. Republicans are working to turn out voters in traditionally Republican areas of the state, while Democrats are also campaigning in Montana. The general election will be held on November 3.
