若赢得中期选举 众议院民主党人筹备「头100天」议程 杰弗里斯列出开局优先事项
华盛顿讯——据美联社10月14日报道，众议院民主党人正在筹备一份「头100天」议程，前提是赢得11月3日中期选举、夺回众议院多数。这是一份有条件的议程，只有民主党获胜才会启动。众议院民主党领袖哈基姆·杰弗里斯（Hakeem Jeffries）表示，党内将团结一致推进开局工作。
按这份筹备中的议程，开局优先事项包括：恢复《平价医疗法案》税收抵免、撤销共和党的医疗补助（Medicaid）削减、就伊朗战争举行表决，以及推翻特朗普的关税制度。议程计划在新国会明年1月就座后的头100小时内启动。
杰弗里斯设立了五个工作组，分别聚焦医疗、住房、食品杂货与商品、汽油与公用事业、照护，每个工作组各由一名进步派与一名中间派共同领导。杰弗里斯向美联社表示，为负担得起的美国而奋斗是民主党人的团结所在，并指生活成本太高。
与此同时，众议院监督与司法委员会的民主党首席成员正筹备对特朗普及其家人与政府的调查。杰弗里斯表示，弹劾既不在桌面上、也未被排除。若民主党赢得中期选举，杰弗里斯有望成为自佩洛西以来首位民主党籍众议院议长。

If They Win the Midterms, House Democrats Are Preparing a 'First 100 Days' Agenda, Jeffries Says
Washington — House Democrats are preparing a 'first 100 days' agenda on the condition that they win the November 3 midterm elections and retake the House majority, the Associated Press reported on October 14. It is a conditional agenda that would only be launched if Democrats win. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries said his party would be united as it begins its work.
Under the agenda being prepared, opening priorities would include restoring Affordable Care Act tax credits, reversing Republican cuts to Medicaid, holding a vote on the Iran war, and overturning Trump's tariff regime. The agenda is planned to begin within the first 100 hours after the new Congress is seated next January.
Jeffries has set up five working groups — on health care, housing, groceries and goods, gasoline and utilities, and care — each co-led by a progressive and a moderate. Jeffries told the Associated Press that fighting for an affordable America is what unites Democrats, and that the cost of living is too high.
Meanwhile, the top Democrats on the House Oversight and Judiciary committees are preparing investigations into Trump, his family and his administration. Jeffries said impeachment is neither on the table nor ruled out. If Democrats win the midterms, Jeffries would be in line to become the first Democratic speaker of the House since Pelosi.
