Fromm两款狗罐头因可能混入金属被召回：合计5,825箱、暂无患病报告
美国食品药品监管局（FDA）2026年8月21日发布企业公告：总部位于威斯康星州 Mequon 的 Fromm Family Foods LLC 召回两款罐装湿狗粮，原因是产品可能混入金属。本次召回合计5,825箱，其中火鸡肉酱（Turkey Pâté）狗罐头3,852箱、Diner Classics Milo's Meatloaf 肉酱狗罐头1,973箱。
FDA 公告说，狗误食金属后可能出现噎呛、呕吐、食欲不振、嗜睡或腹部不适；尖锐的金属碎片还可能划伤口腔与消化道，大量摄入可造成肠胃不适、部分堵塞甚至肠梗阻。公告提醒，狗若吃过涉事产品并出现上述症状，主人应联系兽医；尚未喂食的应立即停喂。
涉事产品在全美与加拿大的社区宠物店和线上渠道销售，可凭包装信息辨认：火鸡肉酱款每罐12.2盎司，UPC为072705118700，批号EP2A3306 551006；Milo's Meatloaf款每罐12.5盎司，UPC为072705132324，批号EP2A3306 551029；两款的最佳食用日期均为032029（2029年3月）。除这两款外，Fromm 其他产品不受影响。
公司称，召回是在收到金属污染投诉后发起的，公司已查明差错出处，并在既有安全流程之外采取了纠正措施防止再发生。截至公告日，尚无与涉事产品有关的患病或受伤报告。

Fromm Recalls Two Wet Dog Foods Over Possible Metal Contamination: 5,825 Cases, No Illnesses Reported
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted a company announcement on August 21, 2026: Fromm Family Foods LLC of Mequon, Wisconsin, is recalling two canned wet dog foods because the products may be contaminated with metal. The recall covers 5,825 cases in total: 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pâté wet dog food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo's Meatloaf Pâté wet dog food.
According to the announcement, dogs that ingest metal may show symptoms such as choking, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy or stomach discomfort; sharp pieces can lacerate the mouth and gastrointestinal tract, and larger amounts can cause gastrointestinal upset, partial blockage or intestinal obstruction. Owners whose dogs ate the affected product and show these symptoms should contact a veterinarian, and the products should no longer be fed.
The recalled products were distributed at neighborhood pet stores and online outlets in the United States and Canada. They can be identified by label: the Turkey Pâté comes in 12.2-ounce cans, UPC 072705118700, lot code EP2A3306 551006; the Milo's Meatloaf Pâté comes in 12.5-ounce cans, UPC 072705132324, lot code EP2A3306 551029; both carry a Best By date of 032029. No other Fromm products are affected.
The company said the recall was initiated after it received complaints of metal contamination, that it has identified the error, and that corrective actions have been put in place on top of its existing safety processes. To date, there have been no reports of illness or injury related to the recalled products.
Consumers who bought the affected cans are urged to return them to their retailer. Questions can be directed to the company at 1-800-325-6331, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time. The recall is being made with the knowledge of the FDA.
