The City of El Cajon, in California's San Diego County, posted a notice on October 26 opening a public review and comment period for its draft 2024-2028 Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) 5-Year Plan and application.
PLHA is California's Permanent Local Housing Allocation program, a state-funded program supporting local affordable-housing activities. The document El Cajon released for comment is the draft five-year plan and application covering 2024 through 2028.
The city published the notice, titled "Notice of Public Review and Comment Period: 2024-2028 Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) 5-Year Plan," through its GovDelivery channel, with instructions for residents to read the draft and submit comments.
