Target Prices Its Thanksgiving Meal for Six at $30, With Frozen Turkey at 79 Cents a Pound for a Third Straight Year
Target has priced its Thanksgiving meal for six at $30, or $5 per person, the same as last year. The prices are valid November 8 through 29, 2026, before tax, and are not valid in Alaska or Hawaii.
The nine-item basket includes a 3-pound bag of Good & Gather russet potatoes, Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce, two cans of Del Monte French-style green beans, Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup, Good & Gather French fried onions, Stove Top stuffing mix, Heinz homestyle turkey gravy, and a two-count pack of Favorite Day take-and-bake baguettes. The centerpiece, a frozen Butterball Premium whole young turkey of up to 10 pounds, is priced at 79 cents a pound for the third consecutive year.
Beyond the meal, Target is adding nearly 60 new food and beverage items for the season, including more than ten new Good & Gather frozen appetizers, and expanding its $5 selection of sides, pies, appetizers and wine. More than 200 new Threshold kitchen products also arrived this fall.
A YouGov survey of 1,070 U.S. adults conducted October 5-6, 2026, cited by Target, found that among the 1,014 respondents who celebrate Thanksgiving, seven in ten value traditions, while nearly half plan to add a twist to this year's meal.
