'The Angry Birds Movie' Returns November 13: The 2016 Original Marks 10 Years With a One-Week Event
Sony Pictures Entertainment and Iconic Events Releasing will bring The Angry Birds Movie back to select theaters nationwide beginning November 13 for a special one-week 10th anniversary engagement. Tickets are on sale through major ticketing platforms.
The original film opened on May 20, 2016, directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis and adapted from the hit mobile game; it grossed more than $350 million worldwide and ranked among the year's top animated releases, following the flightless bird Red and his friends as they defend Bird Island.
The re-release also warms up the franchise's next chapter: The Angry Birds Movie 3 arrives December 23 from Paramount Pictures.
