Oilers Host the Canucks on November 7: McDavid Goes for the Longest Point Streak by an Active Player
The Edmonton Oilers host the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Place on November 7 at 10 p.m. ET on TVAS and Sportsnet. Oilers captain Connor McDavid needs one point to claim outright the longest point streak by an active NHL player, a mark he currently shares with himself and William Nylander.
McDavid has a point in all 17 games this season, with 44 points (10 goals, 34 assists) to lead the league, including a goal and three assists in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Anaheim; Edmonton is 11-3-3 and winless in two (0-1-1).
