俄亥俄州州长迈克·迪温（Mike DeWine）与州发展厅厅长莉迪亚·米哈利克（Lydia Mihalik）11月5日宣布，全州32个社区将获得总计1,750万美元的社区振兴与关键基础设施拨款，用于完成改善居民生活质量的基建与社区改造项目。

Ohio Awards $17.5 Million to 32 Communities for Neighborhood Revitalization and Critical Infrastructure
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced on November 5 that 32 communities across the state will receive a total of $17.5 million in Neighborhood Revitalization and Critical Infrastructure grants to complete infrastructure and neighborhood improvement projects that enhance quality of life.
According to the governor's office, 10 communities will share $7.5 million in Neighborhood Revitalization grants, while Critical Infrastructure funding totaling $10 million will go to 22 communities for high-priority infrastructure improvements with community-wide impact. Projects include upgraded water and sewer infrastructure, flood and drainage improvements, road and sidewalk reconstruction, and park enhancements.
"Reliable water and sewer systems, safe streets, and strong neighborhoods create communities where families can live their very best lives," said Governor DeWine. "The investments we're making today build a better foundation for the future by helping our local partners make essential improvements."
"No one understands the needs of their communities quite like our local leaders, but we know finding the resources to get the work done can sometimes be a challenge," said Director Mihalik. "We're proud to help turn those priorities into results that protect homes from flooding, improve essential services, and give Ohioans more opportunities to enjoy their neighborhoods."
The awards are funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
