Steve Madden Q3 Revenue Rises 15.7% to $772.6 Million: Outlook Raised, $0.21 Quarterly Dividend Declared
Steven Madden, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SHOO), based in Long Island City, Queens, New York, reported results on November 5 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026: revenue increased 15.7% to $772.6 million, from $667.9 million a year earlier, and gross margin was 44.6%, compared with 41.5%.
Income from operations totaled $73.2 million, or 9.5% of revenue, compared with $31.4 million a year earlier. Net income attributable to the company was $52.4 million, or $0.72 per diluted share, compared with $20.5 million, or $0.29; adjusted net income was $57.3 million, or $0.79 per diluted share.
By channel, wholesale revenue was $528.7 million, up 19.4%, with wholesale footwear up 21.0%; direct-to-consumer revenue was $239.2 million, up 8.0%. The company ended the quarter with 381 company-operated stores, including 92 outlets, eight e-commerce websites and 190 concessions in international markets. Total debt stood at $120.2 million against cash and equivalents of $71.3 million.
The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per share, payable December 24, 2026 to stockholders of record on December 11. The company raised its fiscal 2026 outlook, now expecting revenue to increase 12% to 13% and diluted EPS of $2.58 to $2.63.
