Berkshire County drug raids net 9 arrests, over 1.5 kg of cocaine and heroin
The office of Berkshire County District Attorney Timothy Shugrue in Massachusetts reported that Pittsfield police arrested nine people in two raids, on October 15 and October 22, seizing about 542 grams of cocaine and 983 grams of heroin, along with guns, cash and packaging materials.
The district attorney's office said the raids targeted a drug-trafficking network operating around Pittsfield. Those arrested face trafficking and related charges as the cases proceed.
