AMD季报披露：29亿美元收购AI芯片公司Taalas，最高14亿美元为或有对价
美国芯片制造商AMD在11月4日提交的季度报告（10-Q）中披露，将以约29亿美元收购多伦多AI芯片初创公司Taalas，交易为现金加股票，其中最高约14亿美元为或有对价。AMD于2026年8月6日首次宣布这项收购时未公布价格。Taalas成立仅三年，专做模型专用AI推理芯片，把单一训练模型直接做进芯片，其唯一公开产品HC1围绕Meta的Llama 3.1 8B模型打造，采用台积电6纳米工艺。交易尚待监管批准，AMD预计2026年底前完成。

AMD Filing Reveals $2.9 Billion Taalas Acquisition, With Up to $1.4 Billion in Contingent Consideration
AMD disclosed in the quarterly report (Form 10-Q) it filed on Nov. 4 that it will acquire Toronto-based artificial intelligence chip startup Taalas for about $2.9 billion, in a cash-and-stock transaction of which up to about $1.4 billion is contingent consideration. AMD first announced the acquisition on Aug. 6, 2026, without disclosing the price at the time.
Founded just three years ago, Taalas specializes in model-specific AI inference chips, building a single trained model directly into the silicon. Its only public product, the HC1, is built around Meta's Llama 3.1 8B model and manufactured on TSMC's 6-nanometer process. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval, and AMD expects to complete it by the end of 2026.
