芝加哥交响乐团12月17日至19日演韩德尔《弥赛亚》：铃木雅明执棒，四位独唱家同台
位于伊利诺伊州库克县芝加哥市的芝加哥交响中心（220 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago）管弦乐团音乐厅将于12月17日晚7时30分、12月18日下午1时30分与12月19日晚7时30分上演韩德尔《弥赛亚》：巴洛克音乐权威铃木雅明（Masaaki Suzuki）执棒芝加哥交响乐团与芝加哥交响合唱团。
女高音 Sherezade Panthaki、假声女高音 Hugh Cutting、男高音 Andrew Haji 与男中低音 Paul Max Tipton 四位独唱家同台，合唱团由 Donald Palumbo 领军。《弥赛亚》中的「哈利路亚」大合唱是节日季最具标志性的段落之一。

Chicago Symphony Performs Handel's 'Messiah' December 17-19: Masaaki Suzuki Conducts
Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center (220 S. Michigan Ave) in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, hosts Handel's Messiah on December 17 at 7:30 p.m., December 18 at 1:30 p.m. and December 19 at 7:30 p.m., with Baroque authority Masaaki Suzuki conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
Soprano Sherezade Panthaki, countertenor Hugh Cutting, tenor Andrew Haji and bass-baritone Paul Max Tipton are the soloists, and Donald Palumbo directs the chorus. The 'Hallelujah' chorus remains the holiday season's most iconic passage.
