芝加哥交响乐团12月3日至5日演德沃夏克第八交响曲：穆蒂执棒，韦尔特吹双簧管协奏曲
位于伊利诺伊州库克县芝加哥市的芝加哥交响中心（Symphony Center，220 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago）管弦乐团音乐厅将于12月3日晚7时30分、12月4日晚7时30分与12月5日晚7时30分上演音乐会：终身荣誉音乐总监里卡多·穆蒂（Riccardo Muti）执棒芝加哥交响乐团，演德沃夏克第八交响曲。
乐团双簧管演奏家 William Welter 担纲独奏，演理查·施特劳斯双簧管协奏曲；同场还有巴托克《两幅图画》。德沃夏克第八交响曲写于波希米亚乡间，旋律明朗，是作曲家最受喜爱的交响曲之一。

Muti Conducts Dvorak's Eighth in Chicago December 3-5: Welter Plays the Strauss Oboe Concerto
Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center (220 S. Michigan Ave) in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, hosts Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 on December 3, 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m., with Music Director Emeritus for Life Riccardo Muti conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
CSO oboist William Welter is the soloist in Richard Strauss's Oboe Concerto, and Bartok's Two Pictures completes the program. Written in the Bohemian countryside, Dvorak's Eighth is among the composer's sunniest and most beloved symphonies.
