墨西哥男子六次被驱逐后非法重返美国被判9年监禁
美国司法部堪萨斯区联邦检察官办公室宣布，墨西哥籍男子 Ysidoro Martinez-Arguello（57岁）在六次被驱逐出美国之后，未经许可重返美国，被判处 108 个月、即 9 年联邦监禁。
据法庭文件，Martinez-Arguello 已就一项「驱逐后非法重返」罪名认罪。他曾于 2010 年三次被驱逐出美国，又于 2015 年、2016 年与 2023 年各被驱逐一次，前后共六次。
文件还显示，1993 年至 2018 年间，Martinez-Arguello 曾因与酒后或药物影响下驾驶相关的罪名七次被定罪并入狱服刑。
2025 年 8 月，Martinez-Arguello 在堪萨斯州 Manhattan 卷入一起致命交通事故后进入执法部门视线。司法部说明，该起事故不涉及酒精或毒品。
联邦检察官 Ryan A. Kriegshauser 表示，量刑法官 Tony Mattivi 在宣判时指出，对 Martinez-Arguello 此前较轻的刑罚已经尝试过、并未奏效；在其多次违法的情况下，仅靠驱逐已不足以保障公众安全，无视美国法律并危害社区的非法外国人将在被遣返前先被起诉。

Man Deported Six Times Sentenced to 108 Months in Prison for Illegal Reentry
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Kansas announced that Ysidoro Martinez-Arguello, 57, a citizen of Mexico who has been deported six times, was sentenced to 108 months, or nine years, in prison for returning to the United States without permission.
According to court documents, Martinez-Arguello pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful reentry after deportation. He was deported from the United States three times in 2010 and again in 2015, 2016, and 2023, six times in total.
The documents also show that Martinez-Arguello had been convicted and incarcerated seven times on charges related to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs between 1993 and 2018.
Martinez-Arguello came to the attention of law enforcement after being involved in a fatality traffic accident in Manhattan, Kansas, in August 2025, which did not involve alcohol or drugs.
U.S. Attorney Ryan A. Kriegshauser said District Judge Tony Mattivi stated at sentencing that more lenient sentences have tried and failed for Martinez-Arguello, and that removal alone will not keep the public safe given his numerous re-entries and other crimes. He said illegal aliens who ignore U.S. laws and harm communities will be prosecuted before they are removed.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Duston Slinkard prosecuted the case.
