圣路易斯地区学区公投结果公布：多数学区提案获通过
位于密苏里州的圣路易斯地区各学区在11月4日迎来一轮教育经费方面的好消息。据圣路易斯公共广播电台报道，选民批准了当地学区提出的绝大多数公投提案，将为多个因州和地方收入减少而面临预算缺口的学区带来数百万美元资金。
根据规定，学区运营税率调整提案只需简单多数即可通过，而债券提案则需获得57.14%的超级多数支持。本轮公投覆盖圣路易斯、圣查尔斯、富兰克林和杰斐逊四个县的学区，各学区计划将新增资金用于校舍维修、暖通空调和屋顶翻新、龙卷风避难所等安全升级，以及部分教师薪资福利。
其中，里特瑙学区两项提案均高票通过：4200万美元的债券提案获得近72%的支持，运营税率调整提案获得约70%的支持。诺曼底学校合作学区也获得选民支持，该学区目前被州教育部门列为财政困难学区，明年1月还面临失去全部认证的风险，这笔资金可谓雪中送炭。

St. Louis-Area Voters Approve Nearly All School Propositions, Bringing Aid to Districts
School districts across the St. Louis area of Missouri received good news on education funding on November 4. According to St. Louis Public Radio, voters approved nearly all of the ballot propositions put forward by local districts, bringing millions of dollars to districts facing budget holes left by losses in state and local revenue.
Under Missouri rules, operating levy adjustments require only a simple majority, while bond propositions need a four-sevenths supermajority of 57.14%. The measures spanned districts in St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin and Jefferson counties, with funds planned for building repairs, HVAC and roof work, tornado shelters and other safety upgrades, and some teacher pay and benefits.
In the Ritenour School District, both measures passed by wide margins: a $42 million bond proposition won nearly 72% approval, and an operating levy adjustment won about 70%. Voters also backed the Normandy Schools Collaborative, a district flagged by the state as financially distressed that faces the risk of losing full accreditation in January, making the new funding a timely lifeline.
