北达科他州选民通过州长首批任命：两名被任命官员续任，投票率创50年新低
11月4日公布的非官方计票结果显示，北达科他州选民批准了州长凯利·阿姆斯特朗的首批 全州任命，公共服务委员吉尔·克林斯塔德和州教育总监利维·巴赫迈尔将继续任职两年。克林斯塔德以约62%对38%击败民主党人、前州议员斯科特·凯尔什，巴赫迈尔以约63%对37%击败资深教育工作者特蕾西·福斯。

North Dakota Voters Approve Governor's First Appointees; Turnout Hits 50-Year Low
Unofficial returns released November 4 showed North Dakota voters approving Gov. Kelly Armstrong's first statewide appointees: Public Service Commissioner Jill Kringstad and Superintendent of Public Instruction Levi Bachmeier will each serve two more years. Kringstad defeated former Democratic state lawmaker Scot Kelsh by about 62% to 38%, and Bachmeier defeated veteran educator Tracy Foss by about 63% to 37%. All other Republican statewide incumbents also won reelection: Secretary of State Michael Howe beat state Sen. Ryan Braunberger, Attorney General Drew Wrigley defeated attorney Tim Lamb, and U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak won a second term over Trigve Hammer, 57% to 37%.
Voters rejected both constitutional measures: Measure 1, which would have required a 60% supermajority for constitutional amendments, failed 56.2% to 43.8%, and Measure 2, which would have provided free school breakfasts and lunches to all students, failed 51.51% to 48.49%. More than 239,000 ballots were cast statewide, a turnout of 39.8% — the lowest for a general election in 50 years. All results are unofficial until certified.
