Beverly Hills Public Works Commission Meets November 6: Pass-Through Water Charges on the Agenda
The Public Works Commission of the City of Beverly Hills, in Los Angeles County, California, will hold a special meeting on Friday, November 6, at 8:00 a.m. in Room 280A at City Hall, 455 North Rexford Drive. The agenda and commission packet have been published.
The main new business item is pass-through charges to water customers due to a wholesale water cost increase: staff recommends that the commission recommend moving forward with the proposed pass-through charges to the City Council for consideration. The agenda also includes a sustainability report, a capital projects update, and department updates covering the department's master plan and the Water Fund financial statement for fiscal year 2025-2026.
The consent calendar covers the minutes of the commission's October 8 regular meeting, and operations reports will be given by Metropolitan Water District Director Dr. Barry Pressman and Street Services. Members of the public may attend in person, by phone, or via live webcast and submit comments; written comments should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. one day before the meeting and are limited to 350 words.
