习近平表示，中国与秘鲁是全面战略伙伴。建交55年来，尽管国际风云变幻，中秘关系始终保持良好发展势头，两国政治互信日益牢固，各领域务实合作成果丰硕，两国人民友谊深入人心。中国赞赏秘鲁长期坚持一个中国原则。中秘自贸协定升级议定书已于11月1日正式生效，相信将有力推动两国经贸合作提质升级，为双边关系发展注入新动力。习近平表示，他高度重视中秘关系发展，愿同藤森庆子总统一道，以建交55周年为新起点，推动中秘关系再上新台阶，更好造福两国人民。
藤森庆子表示，两国共同铸就了友谊、相互尊重与合作的坚实纽带。双边关系从两国人民的传统友谊中不断汲取力量，并在全面战略伙伴关系框架下持续深化拓展。秘鲁重申坚定奉行一个中国原则，愿继续加强同中国的政治对话与合作。

Xi Jinping and Peru's President Fujimori Exchange Messages on 55th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties
On November 2, 2026, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Peruvian President Keiko Fujimori exchanged congratulatory messages on the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Xi Jinping noted that China and Peru are comprehensive strategic partners. Over the past 55 years, China-Peru relations have maintained sound momentum despite changes in the international landscape, with growing political mutual trust, fruitful practical cooperation across various fields and a friendship between the two peoples that has taken deep root. China appreciates Peru's longstanding commitment to the one-China principle. The protocol to upgrade the China-Peru free trade agreement officially entered into force on November 1, which Xi said would give a strong boost to bilateral economic and trade cooperation and inject fresh impetus into bilateral relations. He said he attaches great importance to China-Peru relations and stands ready to work with President Fujimori to take the anniversary as a new starting point to steer bilateral relations to new heights.
President Fujimori said the two countries have jointly forged strong bonds of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation, and that bilateral relations have continued to draw strength from the traditional friendship between the two peoples and to deepen under the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership. Peru reaffirmed its firm commitment to the one-China principle and its readiness to continue strengthening political dialogue and cooperation with China.
