休斯顿交响乐团《弥赛亚》12月18至20日连演三场：华裔女中音担纲独唱
德克萨斯州哈里斯县休斯顿（Houston）市，休斯顿交响乐团将于12月18日、19日晚7时30分与20日下午2时，在市中心 Jones Hall（615 Louisiana St）连演三场亨德尔清唱剧《弥赛亚》。这是该团每年节日季的保留节目，今年由客座指挥 Ken-David Masur 执棒，也是他在休斯顿交响乐团的首度亮相。

Houston Symphony Performs Handel's Messiah Dec. 18-20 at Jones Hall
In Houston, Harris County, Texas, the Houston Symphony performs Handel's Messiah at Jones Hall (615 Louisiana St) on Dec. 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. Guest conductor Ken-David Masur leads the orchestra's annual holiday tradition in his Houston Symphony debut.
The solo quartet features Chinese American mezzo-soprano Sun-Ly Pierce alongside soprano Joelle Harvey, tenor Nicholas Phan and bass Dashon Burton, with the Houston Symphony Chorus. The oratorio's "Hallelujah" chorus remains one of the most recognized passages in classical music.
The orchestra's holiday slate also includes its Very Merry Pops concerts on Dec. 10-13. Tickets are available through the Houston Symphony.
