LASD Homicide Detectives Investigate Death in Compton: Adult Man Pronounced Dead at Scene
Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) responded on the morning of Nov. 1 to the 500 block of West Cedar Street in Compton, a city in Los Angeles County, California, to conduct a death investigation, according to an advisory issued by the department the same day.
The incident was reported at 8:42 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. The victim, an adult Hispanic man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect remains unknown.
The case is being handled by the LASD Homicide Bureau under Lieutenant Steven De Jong. The department said no additional information is available at this time.
