中国海警在台湾以东海域巡航：发言人称将继续加强执法巡航
据中国中央电视台报道，中国海警10月31日在台湾岛以东海域开展了其所称的例行执法巡航。
中国海警发言人 Jiang Lue 表示，海警自10月初以来持续加强对相关海域的管控，以维护包括台湾同胞在内的中国民众的合法权益与安全，并称海警将继续加强在其所称管辖海域的执法巡航。
路透社指出，这类巡航是中国自今年6月以来在台湾以东海域增加活动的一部分。中国将台湾视为本国领土，不承认台湾方面对台湾周边海域的主权主张。
台湾方面拒绝北京的主权主张。台湾官员表示，他们认为中国正在利用军方、准军事与民用力量相互重叠的部署，为一次潜在的海上封锁进行演练。据路透社报道。
China's Coast Guard Conducts Patrols East of Taiwan, Says It Will Step Up Enforcement
China's coast guard carried out what it described as routine law enforcement patrols in waters east of Taiwan island on Saturday, October 31, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
Coast guard spokesperson Jiang Lue said the force had continued to strengthen control over the waters since the start of October to protect the lawful rights and safety of Chinese people, including Taiwan compatriots, and that it would continue to step up law enforcement patrols in waters under its jurisdiction.
Such patrols are part of an increase in activity since June in the waters east of Taiwan, which China views as its own territory. China recognises no claims of sovereignty by Taiwan, including over the seas around the island.
Officials in Taiwan, which rejects Beijing's sovereignty claims, say they believe China is practicing for a potential maritime blockade using overlapping military, paramilitary and civilian assets, according to Reuters.
