Utah Routs Cincinnati 49-25 on the Road to Stay Unbeaten at 8-0
The University of Utah Utes, from Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, beat the Cincinnati Bearcats 49-25 on the road on October 31 to remain unbeaten this season.
Utah led 42-6 at halftime. Cincinnati outscored Utah 19-7 in the second half but never threatened the outcome. Quarterback Devon Dampier completed 22 of 29 passes for 260 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, and ran for 45 more yards. Hunter Andrews caught a 59-yard touchdown pass from Dampier to stretch the lead to 49-19.
Utah outgained Cincinnati 534-456 in total yards. No. 6 Utah improved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Big 12, while Cincinnati fell to 5-3. Utah next plays at No. 8 BYU on November 7.
