Fraternal Order of Police Rallies for Endorsed Candidates in Goose Creek with Speaker Johnson and Senator Scott
Goose Creek, Berkeley County, South Carolina — The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police joined a congressional campaign rally on October 31 to stand up for candidates the organization has endorsed. U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson and U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina also attended, three days before the November 3 general election.
State President John Blackmon addressed the rally, emphasizing the importance of electing officials who recognize the needs of law enforcement officers and their families and are committed to supporting the profession.
Candidates endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police include Jenny Costa Honeycutt, running for the First Congressional District; Attorney General Alan Wilson, running for governor; and David Stumbo, running for attorney general. Also attending was Mike Reichenbach, a candidate for lieutenant governor. The Wilson-Reichenbach campaign bus was on display at the rally.
