位于美国内布拉斯加州首府 Lincoln 的州长办公室10月30日宣布，州长 Jim Pillen 今夏提交的28个人口普查区（census tracts），已获美国财政部批准，纳入联邦新的「机会区」（Opportunity Zones）计划。
州长办公室称，这28个区域分布在全州三个国会选区，涵盖乡村与城市社区，预计将从该计划带来的投资中受益。「机会区」计划通过税收激励引导长期资本投向指定社区，近年联邦层面推出新一轮区域认定，各州由州长提名、财政部核准。
Nebraska Governor Announces 28 Census Tracts Approved in New Federal Opportunity Zones Program
Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen announced on October 30 that 28 census tracts submitted by the Governor this summer have been approved by the U.S. Treasury under the new Federal Opportunity Zones Program, his office in Lincoln said.
The tracts include areas in each of the state's three congressional districts, and more than two dozen rural and urban Nebraska communities will reap the benefits of investment resulting from the program, according to the Governor's office.
