Governor Abbott Announces Latest Appointments: State Securities Board and Texas Woman's University Regents
Texas Governor Greg Abbott on October 30 announced his latest slate of appointments. Glenn MacTaggart and Paula Ann Miller were appointed to the State Securities Board for terms set to expire on January 20, 2031, and the Governor named MacTaggart chair of the board. The board registers securities offered and sold in Texas and oversees the firms and individuals selling securities or providing investment advice to Texans.
Abbott also appointed Rienke Radler to the Texas Woman's University Board of Regents for a term set to expire on February 1, 2029.
