州高中体育协会在10月30日下午5时后不久发表声明说，协会坚持10月29日的裁决，但将遵守法院命令，正与两所学校协调把比赛改期到这个周末。

Follow-Up: Cuyahoga County Judge Rules That Glenville Returns to the Playoffs, Overturning OHSAA Removal; University School Game Rescheduled to the Weekend
Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio — Glenville High School's football team won a reprieve on October 30, when Judge Andrew Santoli granted a temporary restraining order allowing the team back into the state high school playoffs.
Glenville, an Ohio football powerhouse, was scheduled to play University School at 7 p.m. on October 30, but the Ohio High School Athletic Association removed the Region 9 No. 5 seed from the playoffs on October 29 amid an investigation into a player's eligibility. Attorneys Michael Nelson, Stanley Jackson and James Hardiman filed a motion in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on October 29 on behalf of two Glenville players, and Judge Santoli ruled on October 30.
In a statement shortly after 5 p.m. on October 30, the association said it stands by its October 29 ruling but will comply with the court order and is working with the two schools to reschedule the game for this weekend.
University School, however, said it will not play: head coach Ben Malbasa confirmed the team decided not to appear for the October 30 game at Glenville and will not face Glenville this weekend either. University School also issued a statement on October 30 explaining the back-and-forth.
The association said a hearing on the Glenville player's eligibility is set for Monday, November 2, and whether the game is ultimately played, and how the playoff bracket is adjusted, will depend on the hearing outcome and further coordination.
