Falcons Rule Out Brian Robinson Jr. for Sunday's Buccaneers Game as Hamstring Injury Lingers
The Atlanta Falcons confirmed on October 30 that running back Brian Robinson Jr. will miss Sunday's home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a hamstring injury — his second straight missed game.
Atlanta enters at 3-4 and Tampa Bay at 2-5, making the NFC South matchup important for both teams' divisional positioning. With Robinson out, Khalil Herbert will again serve as the backup to Bijan Robinson; in last week's win over the San Francisco 49ers, Herbert rushed twice for 9 yards and added one reception for 19 yards.
The Falcons' coaching and medical staff made the decision in the October 30 injury report, preferring to give Robinson's hamstring full time to heal rather than risk aggravation with a rushed return.
