Emmanuelle Haïm Conducts Handel's Messiah With the LA Phil and Los Angeles Master Chorale on December 15
Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, presents a holiday-season centerpiece on December 15: French conductor Emmanuelle Haïm leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Master Chorale and a cast of soloists in Handel's oratorio Messiah.
Premiered in Dublin in 1742, Messiah and its "Hallelujah" chorus remain among the most beloved works in the repertoire and a December tradition for orchestras across America. Haïm, one of today's leading Baroque specialists, conducts the work as one of her two holiday programs at the hall this season.
Walt Disney Concert Hall is located at 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Tickets are available from the LA Phil's official website, priced by seating section; holiday performances sell quickly.
