Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, Los Angeles County, California: A new city notice shows that paving work around the Five Points intersection will continue through November 6.

GSM previously reported paving at the intersection on October 21 and 22; the latest notice means the work is continuing beyond that earlier schedule, with completion now expected by November 6. Residents and visitors passing through the intersection during construction should follow on-site traffic directions and allow extra time for detours and delays.

Avalon is the main town on Santa Catalina Island, and the Five Points intersection is one of the island's key traffic junctions. Any further schedule changes will be announced by the city.
