According to the White House schedule, President Donald Trump travels on October 29 to Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he is set to deliver remarks at 12:30 p.m. Eastern at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center.
Rock Hill sits in northern South Carolina, on the southern edge of the Charlotte metropolitan area, and is one of the state's faster-growing cities. The trip to a local venue comes as the midterm elections approach.
Later the same evening, the president and the first lady are scheduled to host the Halloween event on the White House South Lawn, as previously announced.
