俄勒冈州Salem男子分发儿童性虐待材料 联邦法院判8年监禁并须登记为性犯罪者
美国司法部俄勒冈区联邦检察官办公室宣布，俄勒冈州 Salem 居民 Robert Andrew Arias（38岁）因接收、分发与持有儿童色情制品，10月29日在联邦法院被判处8年监禁，其后须接受10年监督释放。联邦检察官 Scott Bradford 公布了这一判刑。
Arias 已于2026年8月就全部三项指控认罪。由联邦调查局（FBI）主导的调查认定，Arias 是用于交换非法材料的在线网络中的活跃参与者。
2023年12月，执法人员执行联邦搜查令，查扣了多台数字设备，其后在设备中检出非法内容。

Salem, Oregon Man Sentenced to 8 Years in Federal Prison for Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material
PORTLAND, Oregon — The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon announced that Robert Andrew Arias, 38, of Salem, Oregon, was sentenced on October 29, 2026, to eight years in federal prison, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, for receiving, distributing, and possessing child pornography. U.S. Attorney Scott Bradford announced the sentence.
Arias previously pleaded guilty to all three charges in August 2026. The investigation, led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), identified Arias as an active participant in online networks used to exchange illegal material.
A federal search warrant executed in December 2023 resulted in the seizure of digital devices later found to contain illicit content.
"This sentence sends a clear message: if you exploit children, we will find you and you will go to federal prison," said Scott Bradford, U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon.
In addition to the prison term and supervised release conditions, Arias will be required to register as a sex offender and comply with all monitoring and restrictions ordered by the court. The court also ordered the forfeiture of the digital devices used in the offenses.
The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon.
