Cross-Border Payments was under pressure: revenue fell 5% to $431.0 million and operating income dropped 37% to $37.3 million, although digital transactions in the segment rose 34% to 8.1 million. The company revised its 2026 outlook to approximately $4.375 billion of revenue, approximately $725 million of adjusted EBITDA and adjusted earnings-per-share growth of approximately 10%, below the targets given at its May Investor Day.
Chairman and CEO Michael J. Brown said the third-quarter results reflect the continued impact of U.S. immigration policy and global economic pressures on the Cross-Border Payments segment, which persisted longer than anticipated, while the digital accelerators introduced at Investor Day grew 33% in the first nine months and represented 26% of year-to-date revenues.
