On the night of Oct. 28, the Philadelphia Union drew 0-0 at Nashville SC to clinch a berth in the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs. With two regular-season matches left, the Union sit sixth in the Eastern Conference on 47 points with a 13-11-8 record.

Seventeen-year-old homegrown star Cavan Sullivan has 7 goals and 14 assists, setting the MLS single-season record for goal contributions by a teenager, while Milan Iloski leads the team with 26 goal contributions (19 goals, 7 assists). Nineteen-year-old center back Neil Pierre and 20-year-old right back Frankie Westfield have both made their U.S. national team debuts, and goalkeeper Andre Blake is the league's only three-time Goalkeeper of the Year. The Union last reached MLS Cup in 2022 and are chasing the first championship trophy in club history.
