The poll shows that 76% of Cuban American respondents in Miami-Dade County disapprove of increased deportations of Cubans who lack legal status and have no criminal record, with 63% expressing strong disapproval and only 24% in favor. The survey, conducted regularly since 1991, interviewed 1,004 Cuban American adults residing in Miami-Dade from September 4 to 29, 2026, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. Opposition crosses party lines: 63% of Republican respondents also disapprove.
