第32届Lund奇幻电影节今日在瑞典Lund开幕：泰国影片《4 Tigers》揭幕，日本片《Break Free》欧洲首映闭幕

32nd Lund Fantastic Film Festival Opens Today in Sweden: Thai Epic 4 Tigers Opens, Japanese Film Break Free Closes With European Premiere
The 32nd Lund Fantastic Film Festival opens on October 28 in the southern Swedish city of Lund and runs through November 4. The festival opens with Thai director Kongkiat Komesiri's action-fantasy epic 4 Tigers, in a programme placing European productions alongside Asian and American titles, with a Japanese genre retrospective and an industry forum.
European productions feature prominently in the Méliès d'Argent competition: Spanish director Zoe Berriatúa's Buffet Libre and Alberto Vázquez's animated feature Decorado, Frost by Serbian filmmaker Pavle Vučković, No Way Down by French duo Mohamed Chabane and Théo Jourdain, Polish director Marta Giec's feature debut Òpi, drawn from Kashubian folklore, and Irish filmmaker Glenn McQuaid's The Restoration at Grayson Manor.
The international competition includes Blood Shine by Emily Bennett and Justin Brooks, Don't Come Out by Victoria Linares Villegas, I Live Here Now by Julie Pacino and Phreaker by Adam Yorke. Japanese cinema is represented by Yu Nakamoto's Break Free, which closes the festival with its European premiere, and Kenichi Ugana's Oscillation; a retrospective organised with TOEI Company showcases two classics of Japanese genre filmmaking.
Animation is another key strand, with 28 films from 17 countries: two features and 26 shorts, 13 of them in competition, with the short-film competition also offering a route to the Méliès d'Or for European fantastic cinema. Swedish shorts compete in the Finn Fantastic section, with eight titles in contention. The industry strand Fantastic Forum returns for its second edition on November 1 and 2, covering low-budget horror, international sales, animation and the next generation of Swedish fantastic cinema.
