美国农业部北达科他州办公室10月27日在伯利县俾斯麦市宣布，参加2027财年再生农业试点项目的农户将可申请更多保护措施，以改善土壤健康、水质和长期农场韧性。
新增措施由美国农业部自然资源保护局公布，旨在让各州技术咨询委员会能够推荐符合本地资源状况、生产体系和农户需求的保护措施。在北达科他州，新增的九项措施包括防风林带建立与更新、田边地带、河岸草本覆盖、过滤带、坡度稳定结构、草地水道、盐碱地管理、树木灌木建立以及野生动物栖息地管理。
自然资源保护局表示，这一调整采用该局本地主导的保护模式，在全国统一的核心措施之外补充地方适用的措施，帮助农户采用更符合本地条件的保护体系。
再生农业试点项目面向全州农户开放申请，农户可就新增措施申请援助资金。农业部门提醒有意参加的农户及时了解申请要求和时间安排，以便在2027财年内用好新增的保护选项，把土壤保护和水源保护落到自家田地上。
USDA Announces Nine Additional Practices for the Regenerative Agriculture Pilot in North Dakota on October 27
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's North Dakota office announced in Bismarck, Burleigh County, on October 27 that farmers taking part in the fiscal year 2027 Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program will be able to apply for additional conservation practices to improve soil health, water quality and long-term farm resilience.
The new practices were announced by USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service and are intended to let state technical advisory committees recommend conservation measures suited to local resource conditions, production systems and farmer needs. In North Dakota, the nine added practices are windbreak establishment and renovation, field borders, riparian herbaceous cover, filter strips, grade stabilization structures, grassed waterways, saline soil management, tree and shrub establishment, and wildlife habitat management.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service said the change follows its locally led conservation model, supplementing a uniform national set of core practices with locally applicable ones to help farmers adopt conservation systems better matched to conditions on their land.
The Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program is open to farmers statewide, who may apply for assistance funding for the newly added practices. Agricultural officials reminded interested farmers to learn the application requirements and schedule in time to make use of the new conservation options in fiscal year 2027, putting soil and water protection into practice on their own farms.
