佛罗里达州希尔斯伯勒县坦帕市消息：坦帕大学游泳队10月28日包揽阳光州联盟（SSC）男女周最佳游泳运动员奖项，男选手Nick Cavic（尼克·卡维奇）与女选手Laura Hodgson（劳拉·霍奇森）双双当选，表彰期为截至10月25日的一周。
Cavic帮助全国排名第二的坦帕队先后以183比79战胜排名第十的新星东南大学、178比84战胜排名第九的佛罗里达南方大学，个人夺得四项冠军：200米蝶泳1分44秒82、200米个人混合泳1分46秒97、200米自由泳1分36秒74、400米个人混合泳3分52秒61；他还在两场200米混合泳接力中担任最后一棒，整个周末共获六个第一名。

University of Tampa Sweeps Sunshine State Conference Swimmer of the Week Honors: Nick Cavic Wins Six Events, Laura Hodgson Unbeaten in Four
TAMPA, Hillsborough County, Florida — The University of Tampa swim team swept the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Swimmer of the Week awards announced October 28, with Nick Cavic and Laura Hodgson honored for the week ending October 25.
Cavic led the No. 2-ranked Spartans past No. 10 Nova Southeastern, 183-79, and No. 9 Florida Southern, 178-84, winning four individual events — the 200 butterfly in 1:44.82, the 200 individual medley in 1:46.97, the 200 freestyle in 1:36.74 and the 400 individual medley in 3:52.61 — and anchored both 200 medley relays, finishing the weekend with six first-place results.
Hodgson went unbeaten in four individual events: she swept the 1,000 freestyle (10:07.56) and 500 freestyle (4:57.40) against Nova Southeastern, then won the 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle against Florida Southern, helping Tampa to a 184-78 victory.
