新泽西州默瑟县特伦顿市消息：新泽西州议会大厦将于10月29日上午10时至下午1时举办电动自行车演示教育日，活动由代表第14立法选区的州众议员 Tennille R. McCoy 主办，10月28日对外公布。
演示方为电动自行车厂商 Velotric，代表将现场演示车辆、讲解功能与局限并回答问题，重点说明传统低速电动自行车与外形相似、运行方式却截然不同的高功率电动车辆之间的区别。活动还将介绍电动自行车的不同类型与级别、运行方式，以及脚踏辅助与油门功能在速度与功率上的差异，参加者可在受控环境中试骑体验。
麦科伊表示，演示日旨在让立法者、行政官员和执法人员亲身了解不同类型电动自行车的区别，为围绕电动自行车安全、执法与监管的讨论提供实用信息。目前新泽西州正继续实施并评估电动自行车相关法律。

New Jersey State House to Host E-Bike Demonstration and Education Day on Oct. 29: Assemblywoman McCoy Invites Velotric for Briefings and Test Rides
TRENTON, Mercer County, New Jersey — The New Jersey State House will host an e-bike demonstration and education day on October 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., hosted by Assemblywoman Tennille R. McCoy of the 14th Legislative District, it was announced on October 28.
E-bike maker Velotric will demonstrate its vehicles, explain their functions and limitations, and answer questions, highlighting the difference between traditional low-speed e-bikes and the high-powered electric vehicles that look similar but operate very differently. The event will also cover e-bike types and classes, how they operate, and how pedal assist and throttle differ in speed and power; attendees can test-ride in a controlled setting.
McCoy said the demonstration day is meant to give lawmakers, officials and law enforcement firsthand knowledge of the differences among e-bike types, providing practical information for discussions around e-bike safety, enforcement and regulation, as New Jersey continues to implement and evaluate its e-bike laws.
