夏威夷莫洛凯岛5所学校10月28日因道路积水停课：州内其他公立学校正常上课
夏威夷州毛伊县莫洛凯岛消息：莫洛凯岛全部5所公立学校10月28日因道路积水停课一天，起因是洪水影响了通往校园的安全通行。当天停课的学校包括莫洛凯高中、莫洛凯初中、考纳卡凯小学、基洛哈纳小学和毛诺洛亚小学，校方正通知教职员工和学生家庭。
夏威夷州教育部表示，除莫洛凯岛外，州内其他公立学校按计划正常上课，目前没有全州范围的停课或办公室关闭计划。教育部正与州及县应急管理部门密切监测天气状况，以保障学生和教职员工的安全。

All Five Public Schools on Molokai, Hawaii, Closed Oct. 28 Over Flooded Roads; Schools Elsewhere in the State Open as Usual
MOLOKAI, Maui County, Hawaii — All five public schools on the island of Molokai closed for the day on Oct. 28 because flooded roads made travel to campus unsafe. The closed schools were Molokai High School, Molokai Middle School, Kaunakakai Elementary, Kilohana Elementary and Maunaloa Elementary, and the schools were notifying staff and student families.
The Hawaii Department of Education said public schools elsewhere in the state opened as scheduled, and that there were no plans for statewide school or office closures. The department said it is closely monitoring weather conditions with state and county emergency management agencies to keep students and staff safe.
