CBP Officers Seize Cocaine Worth More Than $611,000 at Brownsville's Veterans International Bridge
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said on October 27 that officers with its Office of Field Operations working at the Veterans International Bridge import lot in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, intercepted a load of alleged cocaine with an estimated street value of $611,680.
The Veterans International Bridge spans the Rio Grande between Brownsville and Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. It is one of three international bridges in the Brownsville area and is operated by Cameron County. CBP did not release further details about the vehicle, concealment method or any arrests in the summary of the release.
