跟进：约旦空袭叙利亚南部致7人死亡 叙利亚10月27日关闭纳西布口岸、否认曾与约旦协调空袭

叙利亚边境口岸与海关总署宣布，叙利亚一侧的纳西布（Nassib）口岸于 10 月 27 日（周二）关闭，理由是 Daraa 省的地面局势发展，往返的客运与货运交通双向暂停。纳西布口岸在约旦一侧称 Jaber，是约旦与叙利亚之间唯一的客运与商业口岸。关闭发生在约旦空军 10 月 26 日空袭叙利亚南部多处地点之后。

约旦武装部队称，约旦空军 10 月 26 日打击了叙利亚南部被指为武装分子藏身地点的目标，以报复上周五（10 月 23 日）约旦 Karak 省 Hamoud 村一座希腊东正教教堂葬礼上的枪击袭击：袭击造成 9 人死亡、至少 34 人受伤。约旦军方称，空袭打死打伤多名「恐怖组织」成员并摧毁若干车辆，但没有就平民伤亡数字置评。

两国对空袭是否事先协调说法相反。约旦军方称行动与大马士革方面协调进行；叙利亚外交部则声明，叙方对约旦在未事先协调的情况下发动空袭表示「完全保留」，已就空袭展开调查，并强调边境地区实地与安全协调的重要性。

空袭同日，约旦安全部队在 Karak 省 al-Jadeeda 村抓获教堂袭击案 3 名嫌疑人（两兄弟及其妹夫）：三人藏身一处废弃房屋、拒捕并向安全部队开火，交火约三小时后受伤被捕，安全人员无人受伤，现场查获多支枪械与弹药。约旦公共安全局局长 Obeidallah al-Maaytah 与内政部长 Mazen al-Faraya 表示，案件卷宗尚未关闭、调查仍在进行，现阶段没有迹象显示三人与其它团伙有关联；阿卜杜拉二世国王此前已下令安全部队「以铁腕」回应这起袭击。

Follow-Up: Jordan Airstrikes Kill 7 in Southern Syria; Syria Closes Nassib Crossing, Denies Coordination

Syria's General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs announced that the Nassib crossing was closed on Tuesday, October 27, suspending passenger and commercial traffic in both directions and citing developments on the ground in Daraa province. Nassib, known as Jaber on the Jordanian side, is Jordan's only passenger and commercial border crossing with Syria. The closure followed Jordanian Air Force strikes on several locations in southern Syria on October 26.

Jordan's armed forces said the air force struck what it described as militant hideouts in southern Syria in retaliation for the attack last Friday, October 23, on a funeral at a Greek Orthodox church in the village of Hamoud in Karak governorate, which killed nine people and wounded at least 34. The military said the strikes killed and wounded many members of the targeted groups and destroyed a number of their vehicles, and offered no comment on the reported civilian toll.

Syrian accounts differed. The Syrian Civil Defence said in a preliminary report that seven people, including three children and a woman, were killed and three others wounded in the Jordanian strikes, and that emergency teams responded to four sites hit in the countryside of Daraa and Sweida provinces. Syria's defence ministry said one strike hit five members of the same family.

The two governments contradicted each other over coordination. Jordan's military said the operation was conducted in coordination with Damascus. Syria's foreign ministry said Damascus had expressed its complete reservation over strikes carried out without prior coordination, had launched an investigation, and stressed the importance of field and security coordination in border areas.

On the same day as the strikes, Jordanian security forces arrested three suspects in the church attack — two brothers and their brother-in-law — in the village of al-Jadeeda in Karak governorate. The men, hiding in an abandoned house, refused to surrender and opened fire; after a shootout lasting about three hours they were wounded and arrested, no security personnel were injured, and firearms and ammunition were seized. Public Security Director Obeidallah al-Maaytah and Interior Minister Mazen al-Faraya said the file was not yet closed, investigations were ongoing, and there were as yet no indications linking the three to other cells. King Abdullah had earlier ordered security forces to respond to the attack with an iron fist.
