台湾防务部门负责人顾立雄10月27日批北京「光复」纪念为认知战：中华人民共和国1949年才成立、抗战与之无关
台湾防务部门负责人顾立雄10月27日在台北接受记者采访时表示，中国大陆方面借纪念日本将台湾移交中华民国政府81周年之机，发布台北高分辨率卫星图与军事宣传海报，是在进行认知作战。他强调，中华人民共和国成立于1949年，抗日战争与中华人民共和国「绝对没有关系」，这是清楚的客观事实。据路透社报道，顾立雄是在立法院对记者作出上述表示的。
日本于1895年从清朝取得台湾，统治至1945年将台湾移交中华民国政府，北京与台北双方都纪念这一事件，今年为81周年。10月25日周年当日，大陆方面发布了台北的高分辨率卫星图片，画面包括台北车站与故宫博物院；故宫博物院收藏了大量1949年中华民国政府在内战中败退后随之迁台的文物。中国人民解放军东部战区还发布了一张宣传海报，把台湾地图叠加在战斗机与军舰图像上，题为铭记光复历史。
台湾军方纪念的则是另一个日子：1949年10月下旬解放军进攻金门未果的起始日——金门是紧邻大陆海岸、至今仍由台湾控制的岛屿。顾立雄说，那个日子更值得铭记。他表示：「这再次提醒我们，中国（大陆）以武力并吞中华民国与台湾的决心从未改变，我们应该更加警惕。」
背景方面，北京从未宣布放弃使用武力实现对台湾的控制，台北的民选政府则拒绝北京的主权主张。双方互不正式承认对方，两岸共同的抗战历史记忆，经常成为双方紧张关系的来源之一。

Taiwan Defence Minister Wellington Koo said in Taipei on October 27 that Beijing was waging cognitive warfare after China marked the 81st anniversary of Japan's handover of Taiwan to the Republic of China government by releasing satellite images of Taipei and a military propaganda poster. Speaking to reporters at parliament, Koo stressed that the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949 and that the War of Resistance against Japan 'has absolutely nothing to do with the People's Republic of China — this is a clear, objective fact,' according to Reuters.
Japan took over Taiwan from China's Qing Dynasty in 1895 and ruled it until 1945, when it transferred the island to the Republic of China government; both Beijing and Taipei commemorate the event, now in its 81st year. On the anniversary on Sunday, China released high-resolution satellite pictures of Taipei, including the train station and the National Palace Museum, which holds a vast collection of treasures brought to Taiwan in 1949 when the Republic of China government fled there after losing a civil war to the communists. The Chinese military's Eastern Theatre Command also published a poster superimposing a map of Taiwan on images of fighter jets and warships, titled 'Remember the history of the restoration.'
Taiwan's military instead marked a different anniversary: the start of an unsuccessful late-October 1949 invasion attempt by the People's Liberation Army of Kinmen, islands next to the Chinese coast that remain under Taiwan's control. Koo said that date was much more worthy of remembering. 'This reminds us once again that China's determination to annex the Republic of China and Taiwan by force has never changed. We should be even more vigilant,' he said.
Beijing has never renounced the use of force to bring Taiwan under its control, while the democratically elected government in Taipei rejects Beijing's sovereignty claims. Neither government formally recognises the other, and their shared World War Two history is a frequent source of tension.
