华盛顿州瑟斯顿县奥林匹亚消息：华盛顿州州长Bob Ferguson于10月27日签署行政令（EO 26-05），设立全州首位首席防欺诈官（Chief Fraud Prevention Officer），专责监督卫生与公共服务内阁机构，包括医疗保健管理局、卫生厅、社会与健康服务厅、劳工与产业厅以及儿童、青年与家庭厅。此举不是新设一个独立办公室，而是设立专责职位并配套跨部门机制。
行政令同时设立「公共资金防欺诈与问责工作组」，由州长办公室与财务管理局共同主持，须在2027年6月30日前完成框架工作。州长办公室表示，相关工作以现有资源实施；州长并预告将于2027年提出法案，把现行针对Medicaid的虚假申报法律扩展至全州各类虚假申报。

Washington Governor Ferguson Signs Executive Order 26-05: Creates State's First Chief Fraud Prevention Officer and Public Funds Fraud Workgroup
OLYMPIA, Thurston County, Washington — Washington Governor Bob Ferguson signed an executive order (EO 26-05) on October 27 creating the state's first Chief Fraud Prevention Officer, responsible for the health and human services cabinet agencies, including the Health Care Authority, the Department of Health, the Department of Social and Health Services, the Department of Labor and Industries, and the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. The order creates a dedicated position with a cross-agency mechanism rather than a new standalone office.
The order also establishes a Public Funds Fraud Prevention & Accountability Workgroup, co-chaired by the Governor's Office and the Office of Financial Management, with framework work to be completed by June 30, 2027. The Governor's Office said the work will be carried out with existing resources, and the governor announced plans to propose legislation in 2027 extending the state's Medicaid false-claims law to all types of false claims statewide.
