Boulder County, Colorado Holds Three Vote Early Day Events on October 27 in Longmont and Louisville

Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado — Boulder County Elections held three events on Vote Early Day, Tuesday, October 27, to encourage voters to cast their ballots early. From 8 to 9 a.m., a morning event at Happy Day Plants, 501 Main Street in Longmont, offered coffee and doughnuts, a chance to meet elections staff, ask questions, register to vote and pick up a limited-edition "I Voted Early" sticker. At midday, staff went to the University of Colorado Boulder campus to rally student voters. From 5:45 to 7:30 p.m., an evening celebration was held at Relish Food Hall, 550 South McCaslin Boulevard in Louisville, where voters could drop off ballots and ask questions from 5:45 to 6:10 p.m., followed by the final Election Champions training starting at 6:10 p.m.

The county elections office says voters should use GoVoteColorado.gov to find vote centers and drop boxes, and can track their ballots with BallotTrax. Under the Secretary of State's schedule, October 26 was the deadline to register and still receive a ballot by mail, and also the last suggested day to return a ballot by mail; from October 27 on, voters should deliver ballots to a drop box or vote center, or vote in person. Election Day is November 3, and ballots must be cast by 7 p.m.
