关闭范围为 Trinity 河上 Old Lewiston Bridge 至 Cedar Flat 的 Highway 299 West Bridge 河段。
Upper Trinity River Adult Chinook Salmon Fishery in Trinity County, California to Close Oct. 28 as 536-Fish Quota Is Reached
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) announced that the adult fall-run Chinook salmon fishery on the Upper Trinity River in Trinity County, in Northern California, will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, as CDFW projects anglers will have met the river reach's adult Chinook quota for the season. The closure covers the Trinity River from the Old Lewiston Bridge to the Highway 299 West Bridge at Cedar Flat.
CDFW said the quota for adult Chinook on the upper Trinity this season was 536 adult fish. After the closure, the reach will remain open for harvest of 2-year-old jack Chinook salmon measuring 23 inches or less, and all adult Chinook salmon caught must be immediately released. The Klamath and Trinity rivers are managed as quota fisheries allowing for the combined take of approximately 3,200 adult fall-run Chinook salmon in 2026, with different quotas assigned to different sections of the two rivers.
CDFW reminded anglers targeting salmon in the Klamath and Trinity rivers that they must be in possession of a 2026 North Coast Salmon Report Card, must begin filling out the card at the start of fishing, and must record harvest and releases in real time. Anglers can monitor the quota status of open and closed sections by calling CDFW's information hotline at (800) 564-6479. More information is available in the 2026 California Freshwater Sport Fishing Regulations.
