In Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer confirmed on October 26 that defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., who had been suspended, is no longer with the team. According to The Tuscaloosa News on October 26, Kirkpatrick was arrested on October 23 and charged with harassing communications and doxing. DeBoer had announced the suspension on October 24, before the game against Texas A&M, and Kirkpatrick missed that game.
